Booking Terms and Conditions
To book a place on a training course please complete the booking form and send* it with your fee to:
Please complete one form per person per course.
If you are unable to attend you may send someone in your place (please let us know their name as soon as possible). Unless otherwise stated at the time of booking, course fees will be refunded in full provided that at least 2 weeks notice is given.
All courses are delivered in English language. We are, however, able to provide examination papers in a wide range of different language. These can be made available provided that they are ordered and paid for at least 21 days before the date of the examination. Fees for foreign language papers are not refundable.
Books or equipment purchased, that you find unsuitable, may be returned within 7 days for full credit.
Access and special needs
We endeavour to make sure that all training venues are accessible. However, please notify our staff of any special requirements so that we may better provide for your needs and comfort. Some courses such as First Aid do require the candidate to be able bodied and able to carry out practical assessments.
We will collect only those details we need to process your booking. This may include information required by an examination board or funder where courses are subsidised. Some of this data is communicated to the awarding organisation funding the subsidy. Where personal data collected is being transferred to another organisation this will be clear from the form that you complete. We will retain your personal data only as long as it is necessary to do so. During this time, any information will be stored and later destroyed in a secure manner. We may use this information to advice you of forth coming events, guideline changes and to remind you about refresher training. Please let us know if you do not want this information. We do not store any financila details such as credit or debit card numbers. Please feel free to ask for further details.
Complaints and Appeals
Should you be unhappy about any aspect of the training please, in the first instance, bring this to the attention of the trainer who may be able to resolve the issue. Failing this please contact us in writing either by post of email with the details of your complaint. We will endeavour to get back to you within 2 two working days. Should your complaint not be resolved through this route and it relates to an externally certificated course please contact customer services at the appropriate awarding body such as firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com
We are able to obtain replacement certificates for you for the CIEH. Please provide us with your Surname and First Name as it appeared on the certificate, Your date of birth and the examination date, with certificate number if possible, together with a payment of £22.63. We will then order a copy for you.
Delivery of Goods
We always endeavour to desptach goods on the day that they are ordered by second class post or by carrier offering an equivalent service.
Copies of the examination board candidate charter are available from any member of staff or can be viewed online at www.patmarshall.co.uk or www.cieh.org.
