First Aid Courses

Did you know that an estimated 609,000 workers in Britain sustained an injury at work in 2016/17? The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require all employers to make arrangements to ensure their employees receive immediate atte nt ion if they are injure d or taken ill at work. This includes carrying out a risk assessment, appointing a suitable amount of first aiders and providing appropriate first aid training. However, having the correct first aid provisionin the workplace is not just a legal requirement, it is incredibly important for the safety of all members of staff!

Food Safety

The QA Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety in Catering (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification that has been specifically designed for those who work, or are preparing to work, within a supervisory role in a catering, retail or manufacturing environment.
It is also suitable for people who own or manage small catering businesses. During this 3 day course, candidates will cover a wide range of topics, including the importance of food safety management procedures, food safety laws, the role of the supervisor and much more. Successful candidates will leave the course equipped and empowered with the knowledge and skills required to effectively supervise food safety within a catering environment.
The course has a Total Qualification Time of 26 hours or which 5 hours are home study. more::
